just returned from a week at the Castaways. Had a wonderful time. Castaways
is no Ritz but you can't beat the fact it's situated overlooking the water
and all rooms face the ocean. Its nice to be able to hear the surf when
you fall asleep through the open window. Also, all rooms have a balcony
overlooking the water. |
The
recently renovated rooms are very nice, perfect for a couple, and the
standard rooms are very plain but have the exact same view and no a/c,
which was not needed in any case. They have a narrow beach but don't expect
gleaming white sand. Food was fine, not spectacular but very consistent
quality.
