DIVE DOMINICA
![]() |
Dive Castaway's Dave (captain) and Mike (divemaster) were relaxed and hardworking. They take care of your dive gear the whole week. The underwater pinnacles, canyons, and coral are absolutely unbelievable, especially at Pendangles and Scott's Head. You won't see sharks, mantas or other large fish but some members of our group did glimpse eagle rays which was considered a rare occurence. Mainly we saw stingrays, turtles, the famous frogfish, octopus, gigantic barrel sponges, fluorescent green tube sponges, and incredibly beautiful purple lace vase sponges. Fish included lots of ballonfish, soldierfish, brown chromis, stoplight parrotfish, trumpetfish, spotted drums, scorpionfish, garden eels, damsels, and many morays.
