Now that you are a part of the Monarch team as a Harvest-ROA consultant, and having settled into your temporary office, you are ready to begin the process of implementing strategic business change using the Harvest-ROA Business Case Development Framework.

To date, you have identified that the best way meet Monarch's goal of revenue enhancement is to address the issue of product theft. You selected to address this option (rather than issues related to the economic downturn, or the problematic impact of change in sales operations on retailer satisfaction) because the source of the problem can be identified, quantified and corrected, given appropriate actions.

For the next few weeks, you will apply the tasks in Phase 1-A of the Business Case Development Framework towards:

  • Gaining the initial buy-in of key stakeholders in the business change process
  • Identifying the business objectives to be addressed
  • Determining a preliminary identification of benefits of the investment
