You decide to consult with the following individuals:

Supply Chain
Manager

The Supply Chain Manager's input and involvement is critical given his understanding of the overall supply chain -- procurement, manufacturing, distribution, etc .-- and knowledge of existing and potential bottlenecks.

Finance Manager The Finance Manager can provide a detailed understanding of the potential financial impact of proposed changes. She will most likely work closely with you and be a key source of data when analyzing the potential benefits of the investment.

Sales Manager The Sales Manager is a critical stakeholder given his understanding of the sales process and potential impact of a more effective sales organization on revenue generation.

Vendor (Ariant) Representative The vendor rep is often forgotten during the information-gathering process, but this 'outsider's' insights and knowledge on how other companies operate and how the chip benefited their organization can be leveraged during interviews with Monarch's managers.

You choose not to include:

Human Resources Manager Although people-issues such as low morale and high turnover may be important, they do not have a direct impact on the operational issues identified.

Administrative Assistant Although this person is important within the organization and a helpful contact, she cannot share insights and expertise to the discussion.
