After selecting a password, follow the steps below to assign an IP address. IP addresses are assigned from the Main Menu.
 | Select System Manager. |
| Select IP Settings. |
| Enter the IP address in the first field. |
| Enter the address of the default gateway for the network for the attached switch. |
| Enter the appropriate network mask. |
| Press CTRL-W to save. |
| Press ESC twice to return to the Main Menu. |
| Select System Manager/Reset. |
| Select Reset. Confirm when prompted. |

* With stacked switches, you need only configure the master unit via the Console port. * Once you have assigned an IP address to the master unit, you can use the browser interface to configure the other units. |
