The Netgear FSM726S Managed Stackable Switch contains management software for viewing, changing and monitoring the way it works. While not required, this software improves the efficiency and overall performance of the switch and the network it is attached to.
Three methods of management are embedded in the switch's firmware:

* Telnet Management
* Console Management
