Console/Telnet management uses a menu-driven interface.
Initially, a Welcome screen appears requesting a password. Enter a password if password protection was enabled during initial set-up.
Result: The Main Menu appears.

![]() | Enter: Select a menu item edit a field, or accept a value after editing a field | |

The default system password is switch.
