Apply AC Power
    Back Next

Once LVDS cable connection is complete, power cords are connected to each switch.

The FSM726S does not have an ON/OFF switch; the only method of applying or removing AC power is by connecting or disconnecting the power cord from the AC power receptacle in the rear panel.

Follow the steps below to connect power cables.

Plug in each switch's power cord by beginning with the bottom unit and working your way up towards the master switch.

Note: In a one-switch unit, plug the power cord into the AC power receptacle.
    Plug in power cords.
Plug in the master unit last. Once the root switch's power cord is connected, the stack of switches will begin to boot up.
Important to know! Never add or remove a LVDS stacking cable when units are powered on!
