    When you configure the switch for the first time from the console, you assign an IP address and subnet mask to the switch. As a result, you can access the switch's Web interface directly via a Web browser by entering the switch's IP address.

    To log in to Web-Based Management, enter the User Name and Password when prompted.

    Result: The Netgear FSM726S Managed Stackable Switch front page appears.
    Fact The default user name is admin. The default user password is 1234. We HIGHLY recommend that you change them after the first time you log in.
    Important to know! Browser versions Netscape Navigator 6.0 and Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher are required
