Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) ensures that only one path at a time is active between any two network nodes. There can be more than two physical paths between any two nodes for redundant paths; STP ensures that only one physical path is active and others are blocked. STP will prevent an inadvertent loop in a network which can disable a network due to 'broadcast storm' -- the result of a broadcast message traveling through the loop again and again.
There are two sub-pages of Spanning Tree configuration, Bridge Settings and Port Settings. Navigate to the Bridge Settings page by selecting Advanced >Spanning Tree > Bridge Settings from the Navigation bar.
